They say if someone keeps travelling constantly, they are probably escaping from some responsibilities. That might be true in some cases, but not for all.
Hey!! I am Gayatri, a simple girl from Ilkal ( A small town in Karnataka famous for handwoven Ilkal Sarees and Granites). Staying in Namma Bengaluru since 2011 for work. Worked in MNCs, including Amazon and Target. But my true passion lies in travelling the world and exploring new cultures. Love to maintain a simple life and cherish the small things in Life.
Well, I am not a good writer, not good at communication or English. My whole life, I got bullied for my looks and not following fashion trends. Does it really matter? For me, a BIG NO. I just wear and follow my comfortable fashion. And Makeup? You should check out my wedding pics. What can be better makeup than a dazzling smile on your face?

I like leading a simple life. Going back to that period, without much technology, I could sit on a porch sipping a hot cup of tea and having heartfelt and endless conversations with loved ones. But today’s busy corporate Life has taken all that away from us.

As I finished my schooling in JNV(Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya), I was part of its famous program-Migration (inter-regional exchange of students between Hindi and Non-Hindi speaking places for one academic year). This craving to go places and meet people from different cities grew.
Writing a blog was never on my list. During the pandemic, I wrote a small blog for an internship in Digital Marketing. And it got a good response, not for the language but for the simplicity of my blog. So then it all started – MyTravelBlog. I haven’t travelled much, as I don’t have a rich pocket. But it’s on my list. Have seen a few states in India but explored many off-beat locations.

One does not need to travel too far to have fun – sometimes just a picnic around your city/local is more relaxing. That reminds me of my childhood when I used to visit that one remote temple(Math or Gadduge) of Shri Vijay Mahantesh every week with my Dad in my native, which is surrounded by trees and a peaceful ambience to Pray & Play.
It’s not always necessary to have a Wish list to travel. I don’t have one. As long as I explore and experience new things, I can book tickets to any corner of the world. Travel can create magical moments in Life no matter where you stay.
Most of the time, we travel by bus/train rather than by Air. It’s pocket friendly, and one won’t miss the beautiful scenery along the way. I prefer staying in village-side homestays over luxury hotels and cities and tasting the local cuisine. Use public transport, rent a cycle, and get on the road. It’s not only an eco-friendly option but lets you explore things in a more amazing way than luxury cabs/taxis.
I get to learn and experience many things while on the road. It continues to teach me that Life is too short and unpredictable to spend part of the time fighting with someone, worrying about the future and scribbling about the past.
So here I am to share my experiences with you all and take you on a virtual journey through my travel stories.
Thanks For Visiting my Site
Have a nice day!
