The Mysore Palace is illuminated using 100,000 light bulbs in the evenings from 7 PM to 10 PM., attracting tourists worldwide.

Cultural events featuring music, dance, and drama are held. One traditional program held every year is "torchlight parade program"

Main Tradition Of Dasara Is The Jambu Savari. Chamundeshwari is placed inside the Golden Howrah on 10th Day, for procession.

The festival concludes with a grand spectacle on Vijayadashami At Bannimantapa.
